Core Course 2: Lifestyle Redesign® Intervention Delivery

November 10, 2025 - March 20, 2026

Core Course 2: Lifestyle Redesign Intervention Delivery is designed for participants to obtain understanding of Lifestyle Redesign intervention delivery across the five core domains: meaningful occupations, habits, and routines; occupations relevant to managing chronic conditions; psychosocial well-being and mental health; context and environment; and advocacy and accessing healthcare. Additionally, this course will address Lifestyle Redesign intervention sequencing, reassessment, discharge planning, and relevant documentation. Knowledge checks, reflection questions, and quizzes will provide the opportunity to analyze use of the intervention framework within current OT activities and demonstrate understanding of concepts. Learning activities will enable application of concepts to current and future clients and programs or projects.

Learning Objectives:
Following the course, participants will be able to:

  • Arrange interventions (e.g., time management, lifestyle balance, etc.) relevant to the development of meaningful occupations, habits, and routines within a Lifestyle Redesign OT plan of care
  • Demonstrate interventions (e.g., symptom management, sleep hygiene and stimulus control, etc.) relevant to the management of chronic conditions within a Lifestyle Redesign OT plan of care
  • Organize interventions relevant to emotional regulation, psychosocial well-being, and mental health within a Lifestyle Redesign OT plan of care
  • Explain interventions (e.g., body mechanics, home safety, reasonable accommodations, etc.) relevant to context and environment within a Lifestyle Redesign OT plan of care
  • Choose interventions (e.g., communication styles, community resources, etc.) relevant to advocacy and accessing healthcare within a Lifestyle Redesign OT plan of care
  • Apply the Lifestyle Redesign intervention framework to intervention sequencing, reassessment, and discharge processes
